From an innovative
start-up to a gazelle
company
In just 15 years, Globus Wine has developed from an innovative start-up to an international company working on the global market. With a conscious and sustainable growth strategy, we are well on our way to becoming the leading edge of wine production in Northern Europe.
Driven by a passion for wine
Globus Wine was founded in 2006. The company has grown considerably since then, but we are still driven by what got us started: A passion for wine. Follow our relatively short but nonetheless significant journey from the beginning in 2006 to today.
2006
Globus Wine is founded by Henning Andersen, Nicholas Hammeken, and Uwe Pedersen.
2007
Bag-in-box facilities are established in Brøndby.
2011
Bottling facility opens in Greve.
2013
Globus Wine is officially the largest wine bottling company in the Nordic Region.
2016
Globus Wine partners up with Credo Partners to focus on strengthening management, competencies and growth strategy.
2018
Relocating to Køge – a modern wine bottling facility with a capacity of 102 million liters.
2021
Globus Wine opens own in-house warehouse facility next to Køge facility. A new tank hall increases tank capacity by 384,000 liters.
2022
Finnish spirits and wine company Anora Group acquires 100% of Globus Wine to further strengthen its position as the leading Nordic wine and spirits group.
The journey has been driven by people who want to do better and who value joint success. This goes back to the very beginning of Globus Wine, when the three founders agreed that “Friendship” would be a point of orientation in their newly established business. They made an agreement that they would work hard and build strong relationships with customers while staying true to their own relationship; a friendship based on always being respectful, honest, and ready to help each other.
Today, we still live by these values.
