Nordic Roots – Global Vision

Anora was formed in 2021 through the merger of Altia and Arcus. By uniting these two companies, Anora stands out as the leading wine and spirits brand in the Nordics and established itself as a global leader in sustainability in the beverage industry.
In 2022, Anora acquired Globus Wine to further strengthen its position in the Nordic market and expand its capabilities in sustainable wine production and distribution. Globus Wine is one of the leading suppliers of wine in Denmark and is known for its expertise in packaging solutions, including eco-friendly alternatives such as bag-in-box, which are popular among Nordic consumers.
This focus on sustainable solutions fits very well with Anora’s strategy to be a leader in sustainability, as Globus Wine has a strong focus on efficient and environmentally friendly solutions throughout the value chain.

That is why we strive to be the industry’s frontrunner in sustainability. Our Sustainability Roadmap 2030 has been developed on the basis of a comprehensive materiality analysis from the first half of 2022. This ambition and vision is also shared by Globus Wine as part of the Anora family. We have identified three key focus areas for Anora’s ESG strategy: Planet, People and Product.
